On March 29, 2025, the Christian Hip Hop community and so many others lost a rare and radiant soul, Felix "Fee-Lo" Baker. He was well known for his vibrant creativity, infectious sense of humor, and rooted faith. Fee-Lo was not only an artist, but a movement. His creative versatility is manifested in his work as a rapper, vocalist, songwriter, producer, photographer, videographer, and comedian. His lyrical depth reflected his personal blend of humor, faith, soul, and truth.
But it wasn’t just his talent that made him so impactful, it was his heart. Fee-Lo had the rare ability to make people feel seen, heard, and loved. He mentored young creatives, collaborated across genres, and built bridges between different communities. His impact reached far beyond the Christian Hip Hop scene, and touched lives in churches, schools, studios, and in the streets.
Though our hearts are grieved, we take deep solace in the promise that Fee-Lo is now in the presence of the Lord. As Scripture reminds us: “We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.” 2 Corinthians 5:8 (KJV)
Fee-Lo’s legacy continues to echo through the lives he touched and the art he created. To honor his legacy, we invite you to join us for:
